Conformity is carried in the form of EAC certification and declaration. In the first case, the validity of the document can last from 1 to 5 years (for a batch it is issued with no time limit). The declaration is registered for a similar period: from 1 to 5 years.
The technical regulation of the Customs Union TR CU 010/2011 “On safety of machinery and equipment” covers by its action not only machines and equipment indicated in the list of declarations, but also those that are operated at HIFs.

The EAC certification procedure begins by identifying equipment, defining the schema of certification, and collecting necessary documentation. The scheme is chosen depending on the type of procurement (series or batch) and approved by the certification center. Three relevant certification schemes for compliance with the requirements and technical regulation of TR CU 010/2011:

1C (series) – implies the selection of samples for laboratory testing, assessment of the manufacturer’s site production and further inspection control of certified equipment until the end of the conformity document validity;
3C (batch) – sampling for testing by an accredited laboratory;
9C (batch) – is limited by the assessment of documents submitted to the certification body.

The EAC declaration can be issued on the basis of the applicant’s evidential base if this is provided by the chosen scheme (1D and 2D) and in the accredited centers by other schemes (3D, 4D, 5D and 6D):

recorded results of laboratory and bench tests;
documents certifying the quality of main components and assemblies;
documents certifying equipment compliance to safety requirements.
